Uzbekistan, UNDP Discuss Deepening Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Munira Aminova, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, held talks with Akiko Fujii, Head of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the country.

During the meeting, both sides highly appreciated the current level of cooperation and expressed readiness to further deepen their partnership.

The discussions focused on several priority areas, including the promotion of green economy principles and the implementation of environmental initiatives, continuation of project activities in the Aral Sea region, and development of capacities in cybersecurity and agriculture.

Uzbekistan and UNDP confirmed their mutual interest in expanding collaboration in these key areas, emphasizing sustainable development and long-term strategic partnership.
