Uzbekistan U-20 team player disqualified for 4 years

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Player of Uzbekistan U-20 Shakhriyor Jabborov was found guilty of using prohibited substances and received a 4-year disqualification.

After the quarterfinal match of the Asian U-20 Cup against Australia, Shakhriyor Jabbarov’s doping test gave a positive result. The player was provisionally suspended pending a final decision.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced its decision on this case. Footballer Shakhriyor Zhabbarov was suspended from all activities in football for 4 years due to the use of a prohibited substance. His disqualification will begin from 17 April 2023.
