Uzbekistan U-17 Draws with Venezuela in UAE Training Camp

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan U-17 national football team played their first friendly match during their training camp in the United Arab Emirates.

Their opponent, Venezuela, took the lead in the 29th minute through David García, but Uzbekistan equalized in the 86th minute when Nurbek Sarsenbayev converted a penalty, resulting in a 1:1 draw.

The team will play two more friendlies in the UAE: against Ivory Coast on 23 October and Burkina Faso on 29 October.

Uzbekistan U-17 is preparing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, scheduled from 3 to 27 November in Qatar. In Group J, they will face Paraguay, Ireland, and Panama.
