Uzbekistan U-17 Beats Canada on Penalties at Tournament in Spain

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s U-17 secured a victory over Canada in a penalty shootout during the second round of the Costa De La Luz U18 international tournament in Spain.

The match ended 2-2 in regular time, with goals for Uzbekistan scored by Abdusamad Saidov and Sadriddin Khasanov.

In the penalty shootout, Uzbekistan proved more accurate, winning 6-5.

The team will face Morocco in their next tournament match on 9 September.
