Uzbekistan U-16 claims third place at Caspian Cup

Uzbekistan U-16 claimed the third place at the international football tournament Caspian Cup, which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 30 May to June, the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
In the match for the third spot, Dilshod Nuraliev’s side met Kazakhstan. The match ended with a 2-2 draw. In the penalty-shootouts, Uzbekistan clinched a 5-3 victory.
Georgia beat hosts Azerbaijan to claim the first place, while Lithuania defeated Turkey to win the fifth place. Japan defeated Kyrgyzstan to win the seventh place.
