Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A training seminar was organized at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of representatives of the Anti-Terrorism Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and the Police Academy of Turkey.
At an organized meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding the exchange of experience, the widespread introduction of advanced pedagogical and information technologies in the process of training personnel, on organizing trainings to improve the skills of professors, teachers and cadets, popularizing Turkey's best practices in the fight against international terrorism and crime, and ensuring cybersecurity.
It was noted that on the basis of centuries-old ties of friendship and brotherhood, relations between our countries are consistently developing in various fields, including in the field of education.
In the near future, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan plans to establish close cooperation with leading higher educational institutions in Turkey.
Professor of the Turkish Police Academy Senol Yaprak noted that the two countries have always supported each other in preventing global threats and challenges, solving problems of regional and international importance. The current status of cooperation serves the common interests of the parties.
The guests held a training seminar for the faculty of the Academy on the topics “Formation of effective communication skills in the police system” and “Management of the prevention of the process of radicalization leading to terrorism.”
Refresher courses will last until 11 February this year.
