Uzbekistan Trade Delegation Visits Saint Petersburg to Strengthen Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Trade Representation of Uzbekistan in Russia, led by Davron Dekhanov, along with Evgeny Kassyura, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations, and Olga Goryshina, Deputy Chair of the Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy, visited Saint Petersburg on a working trip, the city’s Committee on Foreign Relations reported.

During the meetings, the parties discussed ways to deepen trade, economic, and investment cooperation with the goal of increasing bilateral trade turnover.

An agreement was reached to hold a Saint Petersburg–Uzbekistan Business Forum, which will be part of the Uzbekistan Days in Saint Petersburg scheduled for this year.

As part of the visit, the delegation will also familiarize itself with the activities of the Saint Petersburg Special Economic Zone.
