Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s junior and youth national weightlifting teams achieved a commanding victory at the Asian Championships held in Astana, Kazakhstan, finishing first in both total points and medal count.

The junior team claimed 3 gold, 7 silver, and 20 bronze medals, while the youth team secured 5 gold, 13 silver, and 10 bronze.

Thanks to these combined results, both squads confidently topped the overall team standings, marking a major success for Uzbekistan in continental weightlifting.
