Uzbekistan Tops List of International Routes for Russian Airlines

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has become the leading international destination for Russian airlines in the 2025–2026 winter season.

Following Uzbekistan in the number of international routes are Thailand (39), Turkey (38), Egypt and China (30 each), and Kazakhstan (26).

According to Rosaviatsiya, 47 international routes between Russia and Uzbekistan are scheduled for the winter navigation period, making the country the largest foreign destination for Russian carriers.

The winter aviation season in Russia began on 25 October 2025, and will continue until the last Saturday of March 2026.

Rosaviatsiya noted that airlines and airports are fully prepared for flights in challenging weather conditions, with adequate stocks of anti-icing reagents, technical equipment, and personnel ready to operate during snowfalls, blizzards, and freezing temperatures.
