Uzbekistan Tomato Exports Reach 45,200 Tons in 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan exported 45,200 tons of tomatoes to 12 foreign countries in 2025, generating a total of US$36 million in revenue, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The report indicates a slight decline in export volume compared to 2024, with shipments decreasing by 3,300 tons.
The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) remained the primary market for Uzbek tomatoes. Russia emerged as the leading importer, accounting for 32,786 tons, followed by Kazakhstan with 6,850 tons and the Kyrgyz Republic with 5,115 tons.
Beyond the CIS, Uzbekistan exported 325.8 tons to the United Arab Emirates and 48.2 tons to Tajikistan, while other international markets accounted for the remaining 81.6 tons of the total export volume.
