Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the context of the rapid spread of the new type of coronavirus COVID19, the diplomatic missions and departments of Uzbekistan are making efforts to establish the necessary and highly effective medications in these conditions, the Uzbek Embassy in Tokyo said in a statement.

In particular, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan, negotiations were held in the form of a videoconference between the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Japanese company Truyfunds.

Truyfunds executive officer discussed the possibility of establishing the production of disinfectants, for which there is currently a strong demand in the markets of various countries and, most likely, a high need for them to continue in the future.

The Japanese side provided detailed information on the possible forms of project implementation, the types of goods under consideration (spray, tubes, pocket money), and other aspects of cooperation.

An agreement was reached that the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan will study in detail the proposals received from the Japanese side, including with individual Uzbek manufacturers of pharmaceutical products, and in the near future a regular video conference will be organized to continue discussions.
