Uzbekistan to Secure €26.5 Million from KfW to Support Small and Medium-Sized Businesses
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan will receive a total of €26.5 million in funding from the German Development Bank (KfW) to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The Cabinet of Ministers signed the corresponding decree on 29 December 2025.
The project is planned until 2031. Of the total amount, €23.5 million will be provided as a loan, while €3 million will be allocated as a grant for consultancy services related to the project’s implementation.
The loan will be disbursed in two tranches of €11.75 million each, featuring a 10-year grace period and an annual interest rate of 2%.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance has been designated as the project’s responsible executor, coordinating the use of the funds and monitoring the achievement of program objectives.
