According to the website Gazeta.uz, the Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures on further ordering realization of sales of international air transportation services” on 28 June 2013.

The document said that Uzbekistan Havo Yollari received the right to sell tickets for international flights to residents of Uzbekistan in hard currency, when the initial point is located in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari said that new air ticket sales rules will be effective for flights from Uzbekistan to Russia from 15 July 2013.

The airline said that it will later inform on transfer of sales of air tickets to hard currency to other international routes.
