Uzbekistan to receive batch of AstraZeneca vaccine

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A batch of AstraZeneca vaccine will be delivered to Uzbekistan on 14 August. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

According to the ministry, 276,480 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be delivered from France.

The vaccines will be supplied through the COVAX program.

As a result, the volume of vaccines delivered to Uzbekistan will reach about 14.86 million doses. As of 12 August, 11.65 million doses have been used in the campaign to vaccinate the population.
