Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A batch of ZF-UZ-VAC vaccine in the amount of 4.5 million doses will arrive in Uzbekistan on 5 and 6 September. 

So far, ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccines have been imported in the amount of 13.5 million doses.

The ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine targets the SARS-CoV2 S protein receptor (RBD) receptor binding domain and induces neutralizing antibodies in humans through recombinant expression of the RBD protein, thereby blocking the binding of SARS-CoV2 to the ACE2 receptor on the surface of the host cell. and prevents infection.
