Uzbekistan to Launch Unified AI-Based Scientific Laboratory Platform
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan is set to launch a unified scientific platform for research laboratories, built on artificial intelligence technologies.
The project, being developed by the Agency for Innovation Development, aims to create a centralized information resource that will consolidate data on the country’s entire research infrastructure and enable its effective management.
Using AI technologies, the platform will allow analytical calculations, forecasting, and optimization of the efficiency of scientific infrastructure utilization across organizations engaged in research and innovation.
The initiative is expected to save significant time and resources while enhancing the effectiveness of scientific studies.
In addition, the platform will promote greater transparency and openness in the scientific sector and strengthen cooperation and collaboration between research institutions and scientific centers.
Experts believe that the new platform will improve the quality of research, reduce duplicative costs, and enable more comprehensive and targeted use of the potential of laboratories established across different regions of the country.
The AI-based platform is considered a key step toward shaping a digital future for Uzbekistan’s science sector.
The system is scheduled to be launched in December 2026.
