Uzbekistan to launch single portal of free economic and small industrial zones

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On additional measures to improve the efficiency of free economic zones and small industrial zones” on 25 October 2017.

According to the document, the Single Portal will start functioning from 1 March 2018. The portal will envisage information on economic zones of Uzbekistan and benefits provided to investors, as well as other issues.

The portal will publish a list of recommended investment projects. The portal will also provide various interactive services to investors.
