Uzbekistan to launch 18 new textile enterprises in August

Total cost of these projects is US$99 million. Implementation of these projects will allow to create over 1,000 new jobs. Annually these enterprises can export products for up to US$43.1 million.

In 2015, Uzbekyengilsanoat is expecting that production of industrial goods will grow by 20% to 3.4 trillion soums, while production of consumer goods will grow by 25% to 1.4 trillion soums.

In last three years, about 92 industrial enterprises with total cost of US$575.3 million were commission in Uzbekistan and they have export potential for US$215.8 million. About 11,600 new jobs were created.

Currently, Uzbekyengilsanoat unites about 290 companies, including 159 enterprises with foreign investors from South Korea, India, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, US and others.
