The draft resolution of the President of Uzbekistan "On Accession to the International Treaty" was published for discussion.

The CIS agreement was signed at the summit of CIS heads of government in Moscow on 27 March 1997.

"To join the agreement on cooperation in the field of exploration and use of mineral resources," the text of the document reads.

The State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources of Uzbekistan will be designated as the competent authority for implementation of the agreement.
