Uzbekistan to introduce “electronic labor book” system

On 24 May 2017, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On measures on further improving state policy in the field of employment and radical improving effectiveness of labour bodies”.

According to the decree, the system is introduced to expand introduction of modern technologies in the field of employment of the population.

The system will be implemented in stages, starting from 2019. The system will contain information on work experience, special length of service and amounts of contributions, paid to state social insurance.

The “electronic labor book” system will also include other information about the professional career of the employee.
