Uzbekistan to introduce a list of persons involved in human trafficking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Regulation on the procedure for maintaining the Single Information Database on Crimes in the Sphere of Human Trafficking was approved by the Government resolution.

A single information database on crimes in the field of trafficking in persons is maintained by the Operational-Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The following data is entered into the database:

- persons involved in human trafficking;

- information about victims of human trafficking, about the alleged victims - women and children - separately, the results of the assistance provided to them;

- ways of committing a crime and other information.

The request is sent in written or electronic form to the Operational-Investigative Directorate and its territorial divisions for use by the authorized bodies to combat human trafficking.

After receiving a request, a response to its results is sent within five days.
