Uzbekistan to increase natural gas prices for population

According to the company, Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan set new prices for natural gas, supplied to population.

The cost of 1 cubic meter of gas, supplied to population, will increase from 94.5 soums to 107.7 soums if the consumers have gas meters. The growth rate is 13.97%.

If there is no gas meter, the cost of 10 cubic meters of natural gas, used for cooking food and hot water supply, will make up 1,862.65 soums against 1,633.9 soums (+14%) and for heating – 863.8 soums (earlier 757.7 soums, +14%).

Last time, Uzbekistan hiked gas prices for population on 1 October 2011.
