Uzbekistan to improve system of legal acts’ dissemination

The document was adopted in order to improve the system on dissemination of normative-legal acts, quality of legal awareness of the executors and the public on the nature and meaning of the legislative acts.

The resolution sets single order of dissemination of the legal acts and determines new approach in the sphere, and strengthens mechanism of their execution and explaining of the documents to people.

It also sets single order and terms of official dissemination of the legal acts to the state bodies and other organizations to their execution. The laws, submitted to the Legislative Chamber for consideration, will include clauses, which will determine the authorized bodies, responsible to their execution and explaining their meaning to people of Uzbekistan.

Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan was determined as the authorized body, which will coordinate and control over activities of the state bodies and organization on dissemination of the legal acts.

The resolution also order Justice Ministry to publish legal acts at lex.uz website within a day and Collection of Legislation of Uzbekistan with a week.

The resolution also said that database of the most important legislative acts in English language should be created as well.
