Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will form a reserve of 3 trillion soums in 2021 in the state budget to combat the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his message to parliament.
The head of Uzbekistan noted that the systemic fight against the coronavirus pandemic will continue in the health sector in 2021.
“For this work, a reserve of 3 trillion soums has been formed in the state budget for the new year,” the President noted.
According to him, part of the funds will be used to vaccinate the population against coronavirus infection.
Uzbekistan will allocate US$200 million to improve the quality of work and improve the material and technical base of the sanitary and epidemiological service, as well as the creation of modern laboratories.
