Uzbekistan to establish electric scooter production facility

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan is set to establish a factory for electric scooter production.

The Uzbek-Chinese company Ecomoto is scheduled to begin manufacturing electric scooters in the Yangiyul district of Tashkent region.

A memorandum of cooperation for this project was signed between the Yangiyul district administration and foreign investors.

The investment in the project will amount to US$10 million.

Production is expected to start in the second quarter of 2025.
