Uzbekistan to direct 630bn soums to develop roads at Kamchik pass

Speaking at the session, Uzbek President said that the development of transport-communication sphere is actual issue for the country.

Islam Karimov said that Uzbekistan plans to direct over 630 billion soums to expansion and construction of automobile roads through Kamchik pass in next five years. He said that some 8 billion soums will be used to purchase road construction equipment.

President said that this will allow to increase the volume of passenger and cargo transportation and quality of the services.
