Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Mass production of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus will be established at the Almalyk enterprise Jurabek Laboratories. Farrukh Lutfullaev, the plant's production director, told to RIA Novosti.

“We received a positive response from Russia in terms of quality (vaccines - Sputnik). Now we are waiting for raw materials from Russia, next week we will start bottling,” he said.

It is specified that the specialists of the Russian Gamaleya Center have confirmed the quality of the first batch of the vaccine released in Uzbekistan.

At the first stage, Jurabek Laboratories will produce up to 2 million doses of Sputnik V per month.
