Uzbekistan to amend laws “On natural monopolies” and “On protection of consumer rights”

The draft law provides for the right to the state and economic bodies, businesses and private owners, public associations on consumers protection to appeal decisions not only in the courts, but also in the higher authority bodies with a request to suspend execution of the decision of the antimonopoly bodies or other regulatory bodies.

At the same time, the appealed decision will be suspended till the decision of the court comes into force.

The draft law will create opportunity to improve business environment in Uzbekistan via reliable protection of rights and interests of the businesses and consumers.
