Uzbekistan Temporarily Limits Operation of Gas Refueling Stations Due to Reduced Gas Supplies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan is temporarily imposing restrictions on the operation of automobile gas-filling compressor stations (CNG stations) due to reduced natural gas supplies, the Ministry of Energy reported.

The ministry noted that the decline in gas imports is linked to a technical malfunction in the gas network of a neighboring country.

To ensure stable gas supply to households and social infrastructure facilities, temporary restrictions on methane refueling stations are being implemented according to schedules coordinated with local authorities.

The Ministry of Energy emphasized that these measures are temporary. Work is also underway to normalize gas pressure, and additional updates on the situation will be provided later.
