Uzbekistan Temir Yollari transports 19m passengers in 2013

Deputy chairperson of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari Sherzod Ismatullaev said that the company transported about 82.9 million tonnes of cargo in line with preliminary data. Freight turnover made up 22.6 billion tonnes-km.

Over 19 million passengers used railway service and the passenger-turnover made up 3.685 billion passenger-km.

At the same time, high speed train Afrosiyob as of current date transported over 400,000 passengers.

The volume of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari made up US$319.4 million in 2013. The company produced industrial goods for 265.4 billion soums and rendered services to population for 48.5 billion soums.

Uzbekistan Temir Yollari used investments for US$452.7 million this year. About 18 projects were implemented. In 2014, the company is planning to increase used investments by 57% - US$633.5 million.
