Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The management of the Cinematography Agency held an online dialogue with officials of the Republic of Tajikistan. This was reported by the information service of the Agency of Cinematography.

The meeting was attended by Director General of the Agency of Cinematography Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Tajikfilm Film Studio Mahmasaid Shohiyon, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan Farrukh Azizov.

During the meeting, issues such as establishing cooperation between the Uzbek and Tajik film industries, organizing the upcoming Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road" at a high level, demonstration of Tajik films were discussed. Days of Tajik Cinema will be held within the framework of the International Festival. Currently, subtitles in Tajik are being prepared for the selected films.

The meeting participants also discussed a film project dedicated to our great ancestors - Alisher Navoi and Abdurahmon Jami. The project is planned to be implemented jointly by the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan and the Tajikfilm film studio.
