Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 April 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden Ann Christin Linde exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Abdulaziz Kamilov noted that Uzbekistan considers Sweden a reliable partner in Europe and attaches great importance to strengthening long-term and multifaceted cooperation in the political, trade-economic, and cultural spheres.

Ann Christin Linde emphasized the high level of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. Several contacts that took place both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international institutions were mentioned.

The foreign ministers express their conviction that Uzbekistan – Sweden partnership, based on the principles of mutual respect, equality, and friendship, will continue to develop for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
