Uzbekistan strengthens security measures before Independence Day

Uzbekistan strengthened measures on ensuring public order, traffic and fire security, as well as preventing emergency situations on the eve of Independence Day, First Deputy Interior Minister Tursunpulat Toshpulatov told in interview to UzA.
He said that employees of various departments and services conduct corresponding organizational-preventive works.
According to the official, law enforcement bodies are undertaking necessary measures to ensure security. Special security raids are also conducted.
Tursunpulat Toshpulatov said that patrol services and law enforcement bodies are strengthening measures on ensuring security of the citizens and eliminating law violations.
He said that law enforcement bodies in Tashkent are inspecting vehicles. He noted that restrictions of vehicles entry to the Uzbek capital could be imposed before and during Independence Day
