Uzbekistan spends US$3 billion on the purchase of food

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-November 2022, Uzbekistan imported food products from 109 countries for US$3.2 billion, the State Statistics Committee said.

Compared to the same period of last year, the figures increased by almost 38.6%.

Below is a list of countries from which Uzbekistan purchases products:

- Kazakhstan - 36.6%

- Russia - 24.1%

- Brazil - 13.9%

-Belarus - 4.2%

-Pakistan - 1.8%

-Ecuador - 1.6%

-India - 1.6%

-China - 1.4%

-Turkey - 1.4%

-Indonesia - 1.4%

- other countries - 12%
