Uzbekistan, South Korea exchange verbal notes
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
An exchange notes, constituting the agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of South Korea on developing feasibility study for construction of new international passenger terminal of Tashkent Airport, on 11 July 2016.
The document will come into force upon exchange of notes through diplomatic channels, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The document is aimed at implementing the provisions of the Protocol of discussions, signed on 5 October 2015, between Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The protocol stipulates development of a plan for the construction of a new international passenger terminal of Tashkent Airport on the basis of the analysis of market conditions, infrastructure requirements, needs of passenger and cargo transportation, as well as other parameters.
