Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Bratislava between Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Peter Mihok, Chairman of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Founded in 1992, the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the country’s leading business associations. Its core mission is to support local and international entrepreneurship, foster a favorable business environment, and facilitate trade and investment processes.

During the talks, the parties discussed ways to enhance trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a Slovak business delegation to Uzbekistan, scheduled for April this year. The visit will include a business forum and a series of B2B meetings.

Furthermore, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding and agreed to establish the Uzbekistan-Slovakia Business Council. This new platform will strengthen business ties, create new opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries, and serve as a reliable foundation for the implementation of joint investment projects.
