Uzbekistan slips 9 places down in FIFA ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.
According to new ranking, Uzbekistan lost nine positions and now holds the 74th place in the world.
Uzbekistan is on the fourth place among the Asian states after Japan (53rd place), Iran (56) and South Korea (69).
Uzbekistan holds the third place among the CIS states. Ukraine (26 place) and Russia (31) are ahead of Uzbekistan.
Germany, Argentina and Columbia are top three nations in the FIFA ranking.
