Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 February, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law "On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further strengthening guarantees of the rights of citizens and business entities."

Now, when renting motor vehicles through an electronic online auction through an electronic trading platform, notarization of lease agreements is not required. At the same time, the protocol drawn up based on the results of the electronic online auction has the force of a lease agreement. The addition has been made to Art. 565 of the Civil COde.

Part 1 Art. 9 of the Law “On the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan” is supplemented with paragraph 6. Thus, the functions of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry also include confirmation of force majeure circumstances (force majeure) arising under business contracts, with the exception of force majeure circumstances (force majeure) that have occurred on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the terms of foreign trade transactions and international treaties.
