Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In order to establish direct contacts with potential buyers of light industry products, as well as enter into export contracts with them, representatives of the Uztekstilprom Association and domestic textile enterprises from 11 to 14 September participated in the 54th Federal Wholesale Fair “Textillegprom-2020” in Moscow (Russia).
As previously reported, in the period from 11 to 14 February, representatives of the Uztekstilprom Association and domestic textile enterprises participated in the 54th Federal Wholesale Fair Tekstillegprom-2020 in Moscow (Russia).
Sixteen domestic manufacturers of textile products took part in this exhibition under the Made in Uzbekistan United National Stand, the total exhibition area was 228 sq. m, which presented a wide range of products from yarn, fabrics and knitted fabrics to finished sewing, terry hosiery in a wide assortment.
The organizers of the Yarmarka RLP at this exhibition, according to the criteria of “Best Design” and “Most Visited,” the Uzbek national stand was awarded one of the best stands, and representatives of Uzbek enterprises and the Agency for Marketing and Advertising of Textile Products at the Uztekstilprom Association were awarded diplomas.
Based on the results of participation, the management of RLP Fair agreed on the allocation of exclusive areas in the amount of 400 sq. m. to organize the Unified National Exposition of Textile Enterprises of Uzbekistan during the upcoming 55th Federal Fair “Textillegprom-2020” in Moscow.
Sixteen domestic manufacturers of textile products, such as Barkas teks LLC, TMT socks, Nil Granit, Tanteks Group, Abu Dabi plastiks, Osteks, participated in the exhibition under the Made in Uzbekistan Unified National Stand Color ”,“ Samarkand Apparel ”,“ A. Akbarali ”,“ Sintez group ”,“ Shedevr textile ”,“ Imron technology ”,“ As Asia Textile ”,“ Orange textile ”,“ Khan tex ”,“ Takro Osiyo ”, "Marjan investment group".
During the exhibition, negotiations were held with the leaders of the Russian companies “Amaro kids”, “OTK”, “Tex design”, “Art style”, “Orby”, “Feodora”, “Mogo”, “Ozsar”, “Orkum”, “ Eko tex ”,“ Trelax ”,“ Knitwear trade ”,“ Prospect 2010 ”,“ Carousel ”,“ Textile pro ”,“ H&M ”, which showed high interest in establishing direct cooperation with domestic enterprises.
Along with this, according to an agreement with employees of the Department of Light Industry and Timber Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, a meeting was organized with representatives of domestic enterprises, where they discussed the participation of Uzbek enterprises in tenders for state procurement of textile products.
According to the results of participation at the exhibition by domestic enterprises LLC Nil Granit, Takro Osiyo, Abu Dabi Plastiks, Samarkand Apparel Tantex Group signed contracts and agreements for the supply of textile products worth more than US$26.0 million.
As part of participation in the Textillegprom-2020 exhibition in Moscow (Russia), a survey was conducted among exhibitors and visitors to study opinions, existing partners and new potential buyers about their attitude to the products of Uzbek textile enterprises.
The results of the survey revealed high consumer loyalty to Uzbek products, which is due to its formed image of high-quality products with a low content of synthetic materials. It was also noted that along with traditional products in stable demand in the Russian market (yarn, fabrics and knitted fabric), visitors’ interest in finished sewing products of children’s assortment, underwear and bedding, as well as terry and hosiery products, provided that they production from materials with a low (up to 10%) content of synthetic yarns.
The national stand of Uzbekistan was recognized as “the most visited” at the International Exhibition “Textillegprom-2020” (Moscow).
