Uzbekistan signs contracts to export food products for 1.28m euros

Stand of Uzbekistan was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan at support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs via the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia.

Members of the Assocition of the Enterprises of Food Industry such as Agromir, GREEN WORLD, MASTER GLOBAL PLYUS, NATURAL JUICE, ASVEN DISTILLERIES, Momiq toy servis, Shahboz Shirin, GOLD DRIED FRUITS participated in the exhibition.

The Uzbek companies presented fresh fruits and vegetables, melons, legumes, soup herbs, spices, dried fruits, various nuts, juices, canned products, confectionery, traditional sweets to the visitors of Riga Food 2015.

The Uzbek companies held negotiations with representatives of over 20 companies from Latvia and EU member states.

According to preliminary data, Uzbekistan signed agreements for export of food products and agriculture goods for 1.28 million euros and import – US$300,000 euros.
