Uzbekistan Showcases Tourism Potential in the United States

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of promoting its tourism potential in the U.S. market, Uzbekistan conducted a series of roadshows under the banner “Uzbekistan — the Pearl of the Silk Road,” beginning in New York and continuing in Chicago.

The first stage took place on 24 January 2026, in New York as part of one of the largest tourism exhibitions in the United States — the Travel & Adventure Show 2026. Participants were introduced to Uzbekistan’s historical and cultural heritage, diverse travel routes, and unique tourism opportunities.

The campaign continued with the second stage of the roadshow on 27 January in Chicago. Tourism professionals had the opportunity to learn about Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural legacy, unique itineraries, and broader tourism potential.

Hosting the roadshow in major U.S. cities marked an important step in promoting Uzbekistan as a key travel destination along the Great Silk Road and helped strengthen international interest in the country.
