Uzbekistan Showcases Pharmaceutical Investment Opportunities in China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Jiangsu Province Pharmaceutical Association, held a presentation on the country’s pharmaceutical investment opportunities and the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Park, designed to host modern production facilities and research centers, Dunyo news agency reported.

The event brought together executives and representatives from over 20 leading pharmaceutical companies in Jiangsu Province, including manufacturers of medicines, biotechnological products, medical equipment, and contract manufacturing services.

Participants were provided with information on Uzbekistan’s favorable investment environment in the pharmaceutical sector, including government support measures, tax incentives, prospects for localizing innovative technologies, and the advantages of participating in state industrial programs.

Special attention was given to the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Park—its infrastructure, logistics capabilities, “single-window” system for streamlined project support, and export-oriented production and technology platforms.

Company representatives expressed strong interest in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan and their readiness to develop long-term partnerships in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, medical technologies, and innovative healthcare solutions.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of Jiangsu pharmaceutical company representatives to Uzbekistan early next year to explore the sector’s infrastructure in detail and discuss specific investment projects.
