Uzbekistan Ships 23 Tons of Raisins and Freeze-Dried Fruits to Kuwait for the First Time

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — For the first time, a shipment of Uzbek raisins totaling 23 tons has been delivered to Kuwait. The delivery was made under an export contract between Nassar Trading Agro LLC from the Payarik District of Samarkand Region and the Kuwaiti company Jameel International Company, reports IA “Dunyo.”

Exports of Uzbek products to Kuwait are expanding. Another agreement was implemented between Sunny Land Products from the Yukori-Chirchik District of Tashkent Region and the Kuwaiti importer Alraya Albayda Trading Co. Under this contract, eight types of freeze-dried fruits were shipped to Kuwait for the first time.

Both agreements were signed during an Open Day organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait. The event aimed to expand export opportunities and promote domestic fruits, vegetables, and food products in international markets.
