Uzbekistan Sets State Fees for Metal and Gas Licenses
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a law introducing amendments to several regulations that establish the procedures for licensing certain types of activities.
Under the new provisions, licensing is now mandatory for the procurement, processing, and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including metal scrap, as well as for wholesale and retail trade in natural gas.
The state fee for obtaining a license is set according to the type of activity: ten sizes the Basic Estimated Value (BEV) for operations with ferrous and non-ferrous metals and metal scrap, and thirty sizes of the BEV for trading natural gas.
The law aims to regulate activity in key sectors and ensure transparency and control over the circulation of strategically important resources.
