Uzbekistan sets additional requirements to tobacco producers

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, enterprises of fermentation of raw tobacco should make advance payment of purchase of raw tobacco from local agriculture producers at the size of at least 50% of contract sum, which will be used to carry out necessary agriculture works.

The enterprises on production of tobacco products should have shop of primary processing and shop for secondary processing and production of cigarettes and other ready products.

At the same time, the volume of imported raw tobacco should not exceed 80^ from total turnover, used at production of tobacco products.
