Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of the Tashkent Youth Forum - 2020, an open dialogue was held on the topic "Social sphere - 2030: prospects for the development of education and health systems" with the participation of the Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov, First Deputy Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov, Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Inomzhon Mazhidov.

During the discussion, the participants emphasized that Uzbekistan seeks to enter the top 30 countries of the world in terms of the quality of education by 2030.

- Higher education institutions are on the path of independent development, and this independence is comprehensive, both academic and financial. Today, 25 percent of students study on a budgetary basis, 75 percent on a contract basis, Inomjon Majidov noted in his speech.
