Uzbekistan, Russia plan to sign large number of documents

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Russia are planning to sign a large number of documents on various directions of cooperation within the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Russia, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said at the meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Abdulla Aripov.

Medvedev said that the working visit of Uzbek Prime Minister is directed at discussing current issues for preparation of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Russia.

He said that during the visit it is planned to sign a large number of documents on various areas of cooperation.

Russian Prime Minister noted that the documents should be of high quality and stimulate cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as serve for construction of friendly relations including in trade-economic sphere and other areas of mutual interest. He said that Uzbekistan and Russia have close and friendly relations and Russia is interested in developing them.

Abdulla Aripov said that many issues, which could arise in connection with signing of the large number of documents, should be solved till the visit. These documents should lift relations between two nations to new level.

This is related to economic, humanitarian and other important issues directed at developing economies of two nations, Uzbek Prime Minister said.
