Uzbekistan, Russia Discuss Tourism Infrastructure Growth

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Moscow between Sanjar Tadjiev, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Sergey Krasnoperov, CEO of the Russian state corporation Tourism.RF.

The discussions focused on prospects for cooperation in the development of tourism infrastructure, attracting investment, and implementing joint projects.

The Uzbek side expressed interest in studying the Russian corporation’s experience in developing investment master plans, creating resort clusters, and training management professionals in tourism development.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further explore specific formats of cooperation and maintain regular working dialogue between the two countries.
