Uzbekistan, Russia discuss issues of labour migration

The Uzbek delegation held negotiations at the Main department on issues of migration of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia to discuss issues of developing of the agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Russia on organization of attracting and hiring citizens of Uzbekistan to conduct labour activities in the Russian Federation.

On the same time, Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia held a presentation “Cadre potential of Uzbekistan” and briefing for representatives of ministries, departments and business circles of Russia, as well as mass media.

Representatives of Administration of President of Russia, regions, large commercial banks and insurance companies, business circles and others attended the event.

The participants familiarized with high cadre potential of Uzbekistan and intention of Uzbekistan to expand cooperation in the field of labour migration in modern principles, protection of rights and interests of labour migrants.

It was noted that the Ministry of Labour will visit Russian regions in 2017 to hold meetings and presentations with the state officials, businesses and others. The Uzbek side answered to questions of the Russian side.

During the visit to Russia, the delegation plans to visit several regions in Central Federal Area to hold with local state officials and large companies.

The visit will help to develop regular labour activities of the citizens of Uzbekistan to Russia and protect their rights and interests of migrants.
