Uzbekistan, Russia discuss cooperation in air transportation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Russia held negotiations on issues related to air transportation in Moscow on 30 March 2013, the press service of Federal Agency of Air Transport of Russia said.

Russian delegation was headed by deputy minister of transport Valeriy Okulov and the Uzbek side – the first deputy minister of foreign economic relations, investments and trade Akmal Kamalov.

During the meeting, the sides considered issues on conversion of currency from sales of tickets by Russian firms in Uzbekistan and conditions of air tickets sales by Russian companies in the country.

The sides agreed to hold consultations on further development of air transportation in Tashkent on 20-27 April 2013.
